| Description |
The machine is in very good technical condition and has been well maintained,
and was used for the high-precision finishing of the raceways of main shaft bearings
for wind turbines.
In 2004, the machine control system was upgraded to an R&D MTC 2x-G.
The complete electrical documentation for the control system upgrade is available.
Furthermore, the machine has been continuously maintained over recent years
and has undergone targeted partial overhauls, with a particular focus on ensuring the highest possible machining accuracy
down to the µm range.
